Participation in WebX 2024 and Support for Palau Digital ID

August 29, 2024 — Our team was honored to participate in WebX 2024, one of Asia’s largest Web3 conferences held in Tokyo. The event brought together leading innovators, policymakers, and entrepreneurs from across the globe to discuss the future of blockchain, digital assets, and decentralized ecosystems. By engaging with diverse stakeholders, we had the opportunity to share perspectives on how digital technology can contribute to solving real-world challenges and creating new opportunities for growth.

In parallel with the WebX conference, we also volunteered with RNS.ID, Palau’s pioneering blockchain-based digital residency program. This initiative, which issues the Palau Digital Residency ID (RNSID), represents one of the world’s first national-level digital identity systems built on Web3 infrastructure. Our activities included supporting outreach efforts and contributing to the marketing of the Palau ID program, with the aim of raising global awareness about its potential applications in governance, compliance, and cross-border innovation.

The combination of participating in WebX and assisting with Palau’s digital identity initiative highlighted the strong link between global Web3 discussions and practical implementation at the national level. In particular, the Palau ID has attracted international attention as a model for digital governance, offering secure and verifiable online identity while promoting financial inclusion. By supporting this program, we were able to connect with both government representatives and private-sector partners interested in exploring its use cases.

Looking ahead, our involvement in events like WebX and projects such as RNSID reflects our ongoing commitment to bridging technology, policy, and community. We believe that collaboration across countries and sectors is essential for building a sustainable digital ecosystem. We remain grateful to the organizers of WebX 2024 and to the Palau government for the opportunity to contribute, and we look forward to supporting future initiatives that connect innovation with social impact.
