Palau Government Signals Support for Advancing Diabetes Cure Clinical Trials

— A Major Step Forward for the GDT Project —
From November 1st to 6th, our Biozipcode and GDT Token team held a series of high-level meetings with the Vice President of Palau, who also serves as Minister of Health. The outcome is clear: the path toward launching Palau’s first diabetes clinical trial—aimed not at symptom control but at true remission—is now firmly in motion. The groundwork has been laid, and we will soon begin developing detailed clinical protocols with Palau’s leading medical specialists.
The Vice President expressed strong interest in our 5-ALA–based therapeutic platform and the Biozipcode analytics system, which identifies metabolic abnormalities at their root. By addressing chronic inflammation and insulin resistance—core drivers of metabolic disease—our approach offers something that conventional diabetes care has never been able to provide: the possibility of a cure. Palau, as a unified island nation, is uniquely positioned to pioneer a new model of national-scale metabolic health transformation.
In addition to clinical discussions, we advanced a crucial pillar of the project: medical workforce development. We signed an MOU with Palau Community College to collaborate on training nurses, nutritionists, and clinical support teams. Diabetes care requires multidisciplinary coordination, and this partnership ensures that the local healthcare system can sustainably operate and expand the upcoming clinical programs.

Support from the broader community is also growing. “Team79,” a volunteer network of graduates from multiple Palauan schools, has joined the initiative. Their involvement strengthens our ability to conduct public outreach, coordinate patient engagement, and build social momentum behind the Diabetes Cure Project. This community-driven model is essential for creating lasting impact beyond hospitals and government institutions.
Overall, this visit marked a turning point—not only in medical progress but also in building a national ecosystem that supports innovation. The Diabetes Treatment Center initiative in Dubai will work in parallel with the Palau project, connected through GDT Token’s blockchain-based funding framework. Investors and global supporters can now participate directly in advancing a new era of metabolic medicine.
The launch of Palau’s clinical trial will become a defining milestone for 5-ALA science, the Biozipcode platform, and the GDT Token ecosystem. As preparations continue with local physicians and regulatory teams, we will provide further updates. The momentum is strong, and the next chapter of the GDT Project is about to begin.
