Update on the Issuance, Distribution Structure, and Ongoing Operation of PWDT and GDT

We would like to provide the latest update regarding the issuance and distribution structure of PWDT and GDT, as well as the future operational framework of the related projects.

At present, the regulatory framework for Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASPs) in the Republic of Palau remains under review pending formal approval by the Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) and the National Congress of Palau.

Accordingly, until an official VASP framework is formally established, the related company currently being prepared in Palau will not issue or sell PWDT within Palau.

Instead, the issuance and token sale of PWDT are being conducted by Auring Inc., established in the British Virgin Islands (BVI).

In parallel, the Global Development Token (GDT) project is being promoted independently from PWDT by Auring and the Biozipcode Group.

Key Points

• PWDT is not offered or sold by any Japanese or Palauan corporation.
  Token sales are intended only for residents of Palau, holders of Palau Digital Residency (RNS.ID) or related residency programs, and investors in jurisdictions where participation in the ICO is permitted.
• PWDT is a private-sector token designed to support privately led development projects.
  The company currently being established in Palau and preparing to obtain a VASP license is a private company incorporated in Palau and has no capital relationship with the national government or any state government of Palau.
• Certain diabetes and healthcare initiatives that had been discussed within the broader PWDT-related framework will proceed separately under an independent structure.
• In particular, the GDT project will continue as an independent initiative focused on research, social implementation, and international expansion in the fields of diabetes and related healthcare.
  For investors who participated in the PWDT presale or reservation process prior to the official ICO, distribution of both PWDT and GDT will begin sequentially from September 1, 2025.

 

Regarding the Company Being Prepared in Palau

The company currently in preparation is a privately held, non-listed company based in the Republic of Palau and is in the process of obtaining an FIB license and a VASP license.
It is engaged in various privately led projects, including blockchain-based solutions intended to support development-related business activities, while maintaining strict compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

For the avoidance of doubt, this company is not affiliated with, partnered with, or funded by the Government of Palau or any state authority in Palau.
